So, if I paid the $100 and it came back on again at a later date, they charge another $100 to reset. The dealer wanted $100 bucks to read and reset and they would deduct that from any fixes.įrom what I’ve read, some dealers do it for free and others charge. Reset the airbag mild and make sure that it disappeared from the dashboard. My airbag light came a while ago and I never got around to taking it into the dealer. To try this you want to use an OBD2 scanner, and its not viable in another manner.
